WayFairer builds pace-of-play intelligence for modern golf clubs. We design our products
to be transparent, privacy-respectful, and useful. This Privacy Policy explains what
information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

- Account and Club Information: names, emails, club details, course
  configuration, and preferences.
- On-Course Session Signals: with your permission during an active
  session—coarse or approximate location, motion/activity signals, timestamps, and device
  technical data (browser, OS, IP-derived region).
- Usage and Diagnostics: interactions with dashboards and apps,
  performance data, and crash logs.

How We Use Information

- Provide and improve the Service, including pace estimates, marshal tools, and
  course-level analytics.
- Secure the Service, prevent fraud or misuse, and provide support.
- Develop anonymized and aggregated insights (e.g., average round times by course layout),
  which do not identify individuals.
- Communicate important updates about features, terms, or service status.

Location and Sensors

During an active round, we may request device signals to infer hole progress and pace. We
limit collection to the session window and do not continuously track users off-course. You
can control permissions at the device or browser level and can stop a session at any time.

Data Sharing

- Service Providers: We use trusted vendors for hosting, analytics, and
  support. They process data only on our instructions.
- Legal: We may disclose information to comply with laws, protect rights,
  or address security issues.
- Business Transfers: If we undergo a reorganization, merger, or sale,
  information may transfer consistent with this Policy.

Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required
by law. Aggregated insights may be retained without a time limit as they do not identify
individuals.

Your Choices

- Access, update, or delete account data by contacting your club admin or WayFairer Support.
- Control location and sensor permissions at the device or browser level.
- Opt out of non-essential communications via unsubscribe links or by contacting us.

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system
is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe using encryption, access controls,
and continuous monitoring.

International Transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we use
appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

Children

WayFairer is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or as defined by local law). We do
not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and
update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means.
